Working With The Community At Large
Since 1991, Best Start Health Coalition in Peel (BSHCP) has made it a priority to develop and cultivate linkages with agencies and community groups working to support childbearing women and young children in Peel. These linkages between BSHCP and other community organizations are key to mobilizing the community resources needed to fulfill our mission and goals. As a result, all programs and projects are developed within a framework of collaboration to ensure the improvement and growth of all our programs.
Community partners are actively involved in: The planning, implementation and evaluation of all programs and projects, outreach strategies, promoting pubic awareness about BSHCP to the broader community, providing referrals, working together on common community issues, planning, implementing and evaluating joint activities and providing in-kind donations.
